Each summer hundreds of student NEA members and many NEA-Retired members renovate a school in just one day. In Nebraska the Student Education Association of Nebraska (SEAN) has a similar program. For 2009 the school was Kellom Elementary in the Omaha Public Schools. About 50 students were joined by several active and retired members. Despite an overnight snow, all jobs were completed inside and outside Kellom!
